"Two building sales in Concord will bring a racing enthusiast's distribution center to the city and a new owner for a corporate headquarters building already located there.
Walters Commercial Real Estate Services in Charlotte sold the two buildings — one in West Winds Business Park and the other in Concord Airport Business Park.
Race Technologies, which imports Brembo brakes and other parts for racing enthusiasts, bought the building at 7275-7285 West Winds Blvd. and will move its distribution center from Mooresville.
That 27,136-square-foot building sold for $2.35 million, and the deal closed on July 28. C. Norman Walters II represented the seller in the deal. Byron Foss and David Bailey of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank repped Race Technologies.
Twenty-six Acres Brewing is planning to open this fall in the building next door, which is under construction.
In the second deal, Fortiline Waterworks will keep its corporate headquarters in the building at 7025 Northwinds Drive NW in Concord. The 28,628-square-foot structure was sold for $4.5 million in a deal that closed Aug. 22.
Walters represented the seller, Mainline Realty. The buyer, PEGH Investments, was ripped by Brad Grow of Colliers International."
